I was having this discussion the other day with a friend. We were talking about cars, and he said when he gets a job (as a dentist, we are both dental students), he wants to save up for an Audi R8, costing about £80k. However, if i had £80k to spend, i woudlnt spend it on 1 car. I would rather get some of the following: Alienware Desktop, the highest one is £3k, plus the cost of keyboards, speakers, and monitors. That way, for the first time ever, i would have a truely high end PC! (I reckon this will be about 6K maximum spent on it) On top of that, i would then get a projector for playing games, as well as a PS3. That way i would play on a HUGE screen! I would also get a leather sofa in the room (on of the more communal ones) and a mini fridge. That way, i could have so much fun when i invite round friends, for watching Blu-rays/games/dvds. I reckon this will cost around £10-15 K to do properly. Then, i would get some more nunchucks. I only have one pair atm, and they are too big for me. I would get a smaller pair, as well as a foam pair, and a book about them (see i am teaching myself how to use them using videos on the internet, but there aren't that many). This would probably cost around £50 max. Then, i would get a pool table, and a arcade machine with time crisis. The aracade machien costs around £3k, and a pool table is around £200. That leaves me with roughly £50k! I can still buy some really sporty car with that, and ive already managed to get loads of stuff (BTW, i dont even like the Audi R8). I wouldnt spend that £50k on a car. I would probably max spend about 10k on a car. I would probably by an apartment with the 50k, and set the laptop, pool table, and all of that stuff in it. I would also make it near a town centre (say bham town) meaning it would be convientient. So what would you do? Would you get the car? The stuff? Or somethines else entirely. (But please, no "i would save it/pay off debts/ give it to friends etc. Imagine you HAD to spend this money, and it couldn't be invested or anything, its just for a bit of fun)

Well, with that money though my currency is different... I can exchange it, and use it towards my education funds, a plane ticket, and a place to rent for the mean time while I try to start my life over, get a car, graduate, get married in 2 years to my current boyfriend. Then with the rest of that money, give it to my younger brother to use for his first year of his post-secondary education.
