Dell laptops ? Love em or hate em ?

If you have a dell laptop please tell your story . Are you pleased with it ? I have the Studio 1558 . Let us know which laptop you have and if you are pleased with it on a scale of 1-10 . What really counts is the opinion of the average consumer not the experts and a regular person's experience with the product really helps . I just got my Dell laptop very recently so far so good i had the XPS and i prefer the Studio . I have the Core I5 processor.

I have the Dell 700m purchased back in 2004. I would rate it a 6 out of 10. I love its small size which makes it very portable although I still wish it were lighter. I have very limited hard drive though with only 27.9 GB so very small, but I don't have much media on there so I guess it's okay. I've had to reformat it from time to time and wish it were faster (it always gets faster after a reformat. I had one Trojan on there which was bad news, but that was my fault for shutting the antivirus down when it was going haywire.

That's pretty good that its still alive and it's been 6 years :) I also have the inspiron mini and its pretty good for what it does and its reallyyy light well its only a 10 inch screen .
