Help with Varicose Veins?

Has anyone had any good experience with remedies for varicose veins, preferably natural remedies? I know they run in my family as my grandmother has them really badly and my mom has some as well. I also kow they can develop when you sit or stand too long. I stand for long hours at my job. I've been trying to sit even for 5-10 minuts at a time when I get a chance, but we're so busy this is difficult for me. Are there perhaps any insoles made to at least help this condition, or perhaps some lotions or foods that may help reduce their appearance? Please help! Thanks in advance.

I think sclerotherapy is the best cure for varicose veins. You can also wear compression stockings to prevent it from increasing. It's hereditary and I also have varicose veins it runs in the family. I'm saving money for my sclerotherapy because it's kinda expensive.

I put in the search bar natural remedies for this and came up with a good bit of info. Here is the site www.homemademedicine.com/home-remedies-varicose-veins.html - I know they cause pain. Good luck getting help for them.

Thanks to everyone for the info. I have heard of surgery, but I was wondering if there were any natural remedies to try before that. I don't have money for the surgery and am still a bit young so I am more focused on trying to prevent more. Moondancer, thanks for the link. I am going to check it out right now! : )

The only thing I've ever heard of helping is surgery, its non evasive so there is no scarring. I think Varicose veins are like stretch marks, they are hereditary.
