My daughter's clothes always have fruit stains on them and it's so hard to wash them clean, and besides she has a bad habit to wipe her hands on her coat as soon as they are dirty. I don't want to put a protector on her as it's not good for her to form the habit of cleanness with it. Is there anyone know how to deal with the fruit stains? such as pomegranate, waxberry and grape etc.Help me!

Generally fruit stains can be removed by pre-wash stain treatments or bio detergents (which contains enzymes) that are available in the stores. Try to wash it the second time if there is still some stain left. One thing you should remember is that try to remove the stain as much as possible before you put it in the drier or iron it because heat will set the stain permanently.

I think you misunderstood me. Ironing the stain will not remove it and in fact will make it unremovable. What I was trying to say was: Don't iron or heat the clothes until you have removed the stain. Otherwise the stain will be unremovable and become permanent.

Hi, How old is your daughter? You can advise her not to wipe her dirty hands on her own clothes and always standby some tissue paper in her bag,so that she can use it to wipe her dirty hands. 1.To get rid of those fruit stain, you can try sprinkle some salt on the stain, after 2 minutes ,try to wipe clean with club soda. and then wash as usual. 2. Rinse the stain cloth with cold water and rub over some detergent, let it sit for 5 minutes. Then rinse hot water through the back of the stain. Next, apply stain remover gel to soak up the stain even more. You can repeat this method few times till the stain is gone. Hope the above two method can help you up.

Hi. ann101. Maybe soaking her clothing in water may dilute the stain quite a bit. And you may have to look into buying a solution that targets deep stains from food that is very dark in its color. My kids get stains in their clothes too, so I know how it is.

the best way i think to solve the problem is teaching your daughter developing a good habit as do not wipe the hands on the coats.not just think how to deal with the pomegranate, waxberry and grape etc fruit stains. this is my mind. and i know is a process to develop a good habit ,so before your daughter have a good habit ,you can buy your daughter a special coat which is easy to clean to defeat the fruit stains.

Yeah, your advice is just on the way.The current status is that I have to pay the bills for this bad habit. But the dark color clothes can be better and be used as "special coat".
