starting a blog and earning through adsense

Hi, I started a blog using blogger.com. Apparently I read that I should place my interests and hobbies and I did. I added adsense as well and well I got 3 clicks and 15 views. It made me feel happy that some people do actually click these links. Anyway I just wanted to ask for tips. Right now I am posting my interests there and gained some few visitors. But just wanted to ask how do I increase people to view my site or click my ad? There's an option on blogger about following people and people following me but no luck there's no one following me lol. Does that have an effect? I am willing to learn and earn money from blogging. I dismissed it before, if you have any tips on what to do on blogging on blogger.com it will be much appreciated. Sorry I am still new on this :)
