Death Threats

My family has been worried at this time.We are just wondering why there are people who cannot accept about their fate in their work.My brother is working in one of the known and big company here i the Philippines and has been promoted as area supervisor just a week ago.After he signed up for that position,he already receive calls from an unknown person telling him that he is just good only for "one bullet".
He is so worried,because he all know that he works hard for this position and never did hurt anyone just to be there.Well,maybe in this world there are people who are always envied of the success of other people.That's what they called crab mentality.The question is,why you will be envied?work for it also so that you will be successful too.

Truly this is awful for anyone to be jealous in this crazed manner. It is a good example of what a crazy world we live in. I mean sometimes we do not get promotions for certain reasons but that is in no way to threaten a person who has honestly worked really hard to achieve his compensation.
Your brother needs to be sort of on the alert side and although he does not want to appear weak he will have to report this action to the company, if not only for his protection, but think for a second how many maniacs in this world go into companies and shoot poor innocent people. 
Congrats to your brother and hope the threats were merely that and that he continues to succeed.

Your family don't need to worry too much, we have government and police and legal, I think no person can so much savage and furious in this society, that just a incompetent threat, If you afraid will get into the threater's trap, at last give up your right at the company for him, I don't want this happen, If you feel really dangerous tell your manager about the issue.
Oh this world so crazy, if I were you I will fight to the end no matter how scary it is. I fight for justice. encourage all your family go ahead face it, let that bad man fear.

mAYBE I should have apologize to Zandi(another lotter) in the First place. I can't believe why we have such this in our country. i checked your Profile and has interest about the Place in Philippines.so, you must be a Filipino.
Some people just didn't care about your hardwork. Only to scare you off to give up your job. If only Mobile Phones and has tracker signature. he should let the higher ups know about this. besides, he should just pray and focus on his work.

Hi okiks!
This is really aweful. And it's just as real in today's world. I hope your brother and your family would not take this lightly. Precaution is your best defence I would say. Report it to the relevant authority if you must. Tell his friends, colleagues and your neighbors and hopefully they would all help to stay vigilant as well.
To be envious to such an extent as to resort to murder or killing is NOT the values we have been brought up with. And I believe it is too with all our dear myLotters here.

It is a sin to feel envious of others(one of the 7 deadly sins) but, we are all guilty of this sin, one way or another (in more ways than one, actually). But it should not go as far as threatening somebody.

There are people like that with this kind of mentality. They just couldn't accept losing to others and their kind of mentality often land themselves in more trouble. For me, I do envy other peoples' success but I don't go for this kind of crabbed mentality. It's useless. If you envy other people, then work hard for it and make sure you are better than them in the future. Well sadly, they don't understand this and always want to harm others just to satisfy themselves. Ok, you may want to consider getting some protection from the local police?
