do think people from the province still thnks manila is....

i am from the province and i've worked in Manila for some time. i was mistaken myself of the same belief that earning money is better there. it may be true that a lot of opportunities are open in the big city because it's one of the hubs of multinational companies. salary rates seem really higher. as per our country's wage board, manila's rate for minimum wage is significantly higher than provincial rate by at least 10-15 percent. however, standard of living is also relative to the high salary that we perceive of. take for example the rental fee i had to pay in Manila; it was almost double the rate for a unit to pay here in the province. but like you said, be it here in the province or in the city, there is really no easy money.

People come to the city knowing and thinking that there are more chances to get a job. Which is evident, because cities are populated, there are more establishments, businesses, more consumers, more jobs compared to the provinces. But what people don't realize is that there comes a saturation point wherein over-population also create job scarcity hence, unemployment.

Hmmm, so what makes people think that it will be easy to get easy money from there? Seing quote sign before and after money words it must be something in there. Perhaps if you can make things clearer people will be able to share their opinion better. I too would like to know.
