How far have you traveled?

To date, I have traveled in and out of the country. I will never forget these trips because it gives me some kind of a feeling of contentment and glee. Forget about the lengthy hours being in a plane, the irritable sound of a snoring passenger near your seat, and check-in and immigration procedures you have to undergo every time you enter a different country. I have not traveled too far, I have only traveled within some of South East Asian countries. I feel I still have to visit a lot of places before I die. I am again looking forward in experiencing the climate, the culture, historic places, discover new technologies and most especially try the delectable cuisines in each country I go to. What about you? Which country or any local place is in your list for your next trip? Bon Voyage!

In 2000 I flew from London to Hong Kong and then on to Perth in Western Australia. Then I came home via Singapore. That was my third time in that lovely city. Then in 2001 I went on a trip of several months into 2002. I went to California, French Polynesia, the Cook Islands, New Zealand and Samoa on that fantastic trip. In 2003 I went on a cheaper because I was so poor after my time in New Zealand. On that I went to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. Then I began I began a new teaching position so I could go off traveling in the holidays again. I went to Belgium which I have been to before, then to Turkey for New Year. In 2004 I finally made it to the Seychelles and that I found a glorious tropical paradise. In 2005 I booked to go to Cancun but due to a hurricane I went to the Maldives. Then in 2006 I managed to go to Cancun and make my way down to Belize and Guatemala. That year I also went to Bulgaria and Romania. Then I got pregnant with my disabled son. In 2007 I took my son to Portugal when he was just 4 months old. Then in 2008 I took him to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I got pregnant with my daughter and went with my son to South Africa for a trip in 2009. In 2010 I took my disabled son and my baby daughter for a trip to Canada. I haven't yet decided where to go in 2011.

I and my husband love to travel too, if budget permits us to do so. I wish we have the chance to visit Europe and USA with my family someday. Seeing the world before is one of the many things I would like to do before I left this temporary world. So far I have only been to this country, Hongkong, macau, Singapore, Malaysia, india, dubai and iran….more to come…

HI, I love travelling and I wish I have the chance to travel to more countries like europe,USA,Japan,Korea and China. They are my dream countries. SO far, I only been to Australia, hongkong, macau, singapore and Malaysia. I used to travel back to my hometown once a year and now I am staying in Malaysia. I love to travel to abroad whereby I can see their cultures, their nice view and feel their cool and refreshing weather. I remembered when I was in Australia, it was going to winter season and the wind is so cool and refreshing. I love that kind of weather and the sky is so blue and have lot of nice view. The air is so fresh, not like my town, full of dust and just can feel of that cool weather. My next trip will be back to my hometown again next year....looking forward for my next holiday trip.

Hi Shia! Thanks for sharing! I have once visited Malaysiabut only for a while. We stayed in Berjaya Hotel and visited Petronas Tower. I do not like the traffic though because it took so much of our time. I would be glad to visit Penang and Genting Highlands with my family next time around.;)

Yes! travelling is really a wonderful thing to do but is of course tiring and somewhat costly but trully rewarding. My fiancee and I love to travel as well but we haven't been travelling together yet. I've been to some places in Asia as well but would love to visit Europe with my fiancee and experience the romantic places over there! That suddenly gave me an idea to be our honeymoon destination after the wedding. Thanks for your post. :)

The farthest I've ever traveled was to Japan. It took 9 hrs to reach Japan. We also had to take another 2 hr plane trip to get to the small island we were going to. The longest driving trip I've ever taken was to los vegas. I drove from Vancouver for 12 hrs a day for two days.

You are lucky you have experienced traveling outside the Philippines.:) I would love to travel ,too, but, my situation is stopping me from doing so. :( Funny about my situation is I've never really gone too far anywhere even here in the Philippines. Yup, I visited Boracay but I am from Aklan so it isn't really much of an adventure. The farthest is Laguna.LOL .I was an outbound educator then and I wasn't there to relax and enjoy but to tour guide and educate the kids.:( But, I love to see Africa and Paris and Spain before I die. Mainly, because of the food, the place (culture, architecture and arts) and the feeling of adventure in the wild and unknown territories. I hope you'll have more of your travel adventures. Always have a safe trip, then.:)

I am not a man of traveling. I don't have any money to support this kind of hobby. As I was remember, my last trip and far trip is when I went to Manila. This is only far trip I ever had. But I promised to myself that someday, when times comes that I have enough money to support traveling and having out of town, I will do it. I will do it at the same time preaching the Gospel of Jesus to other people. I pray that God will blessed me!

I do love to travel also. I don't mind if I have to wait for a delayed flight, long queues at the immigrations, no meals during flights, or bad weather. As long as I am at the airport and I know I am going to a different place, you cannot remove the smile on my face. :D I have not traveled far also. My farthest being is only in Beijing. I do not have the budget to go beyond the region... :D But I am trying my best to save for longer trips... Next in my list is in Bali or Seoul. I hope I can save enough money to go to both places.
