I liked Science, Mathematics and History (I still do). Unfortunately, the attraction was not mutual. They didn't like me much.

Well, if you are enjoying your course, I don't think there will be problems. And India today is an emerging economic powerhouse country (One of the four, the others are China, Russia and Brazil), so your technology course will be useful to you in the future because India will be needing people like you.

We have the same sentiments! It has been my frustration when I was still in school from elementary to college. They say that if you'll just spend time studying anything, you will learn through practice. But when it comes to those two subjects, It just wouldn't work. I used to spend more time studying Math when I was in college because I'm afraid to fail, yeah sure, I didn't have failing grades but the grades were just enough to pass the subject, not enough to be proud of my achievements, if you can call it that, lol. But at least there's no need to repeat it the next semester, right? hahaha!

I also had the same situation : not great, just "passing" by.

I took those subjects too. My all time favorite subject (even today) is Geography. So interesting, so fascinating. I very much enjoy and get so impressed to learn about the cities, scenic places, mountains and rivers, natural resources, and so on of the countries around the world. Even today, I very much enjoy traveling to countries in different parts of the world. That brings nack all the memories of my Geography teacher !

Looking back, I was not too fond of Geography. But as I grew up, watching different documentaries and reading books about that subject, I told myself, this is one exciting subject. So, I guess, learning depends on two things : 1)How enthusiastic a student is on a subject and ; 2)The way a teacher communicates with his/her students. How his/her teaching inspire students to learn more about the subject he/she is teaching.

Hi, During my high school, my favourite subject is Mathematics and English. I just love Mathematics and it is one of the subject that I got high score. When came to Mathematic lesson, I am extremely excited and will pay full attention to it. Of course, during the examination, I still felt nervous and glad I was able to answer most of the exam questions well. I hate Accountancy..although it is also come with numbers, but then my brain can't work well with this subject and I always scored either just the passing mark(60) or fall on this subject.

Hi shia. I was also always excited when it comes to Mathematics. It helps a lot too, if your seat mate is way, way excited than you are.

when i was in grades school, i love to looked up in the sky at night and watch the unmeasurable numbers of stars. i also love to eat and conscious about the anatomy of the body and what's with the so called food pyramid and the Go, Glow and Grow Foods. that's why i have been in love in Science and Health Subjects. and its my pride to excel on those subjects. when i entered highschool, we had our first fieldtrip, exploring the historical places and wonders of our province. we also had a pretty and intelligent teacher in mathematics where i liked the way of her teachings. and that end of loving Math and History subjects. and when we graduated, i was announced to be the top 1 in our class., and again im proud of what i achieved. when vacation came, me and my bestfriend fond of spending our time in an internet shop. we thought then, to take a degree in computer because we were confident then that we can excel in computer subjects, that why we took up a computer science degree. in that course there were math, history, science, and health subjects wherein it was not hard for me to cope up. and fortunately, i graduated without repeated subject/s. so when you liked a subject, put your heart and soul with it., because you will never know, what you have learned from that subject can be applied in your life. :)

Good advice, nerediane. You're right, it is just like playing if you are really interested in a subject. It will also help if, as you've mentioned, you have a good teacher (just like your Math teacher, intelligent and pretty, how lucky can you get).

My favorite subject in school is English. I love learning new words and add them up in my vocabulary. I also love playing with subject-verb agreement. I am also fond of writing which for me is the best way where I can apply my English lessons. Ever since I was a little girl, I am not really into numbers or into Mathematics. I tried to like Math but it's just that our preferences don't really coincide with each other. Until the point came when we had a mutual relationship in hating each other.

You're having an LQ with Mathematics. Maybe it got mad at you because it knows, you are already in a relationship with English. Wants you all by itself.
