This was the banner that hung outside a church when Iredell it as the car passed by it along the way to my destination.
I am not a follower of Christ's teaching. But I am sure this is not in any of his teachings.
Mabbe it is the predicament that I am currently in, I find great offense at that statement!
What do you mean that we are borned to pleasure God?
What are we? Some playthings that can be discarded after God is tired of playing with us?
Mabbe I am reading this too lightly? Or too literally?
Can some one please enlighten this tormented soul, is this a quote out of God's teachings?
If it is, what exactly does it mean?!?

haha =D Actually, it should be 'we are born to pressure god" instead.. lol =D I dun think i'm pleasuring god at all. I swear and curse at it all the time. I depise god, and i spat at them?? lol =D I dun think god is of any good. They bring nothing but diasters and disputes to people. It's all because of god and religion, that causes all the disharmony and war between people.. haha =D So is this what the banner means by pleasuring god?? haha =D

I am a devout servant of Christ teachings, and this is what I call zealotry.
Born to please God...Born to Serve God...Born to Love God.
But to pleasure God, I think not. Heavenly Father Loves us, and wants us to Love Him. He also gives us the choice not to. God gave us Agency(Free Will) so that we could choose for ourselves how to live our lives.
The two biggest Commandments of Jesus Christ(Not a God, just the Son of the Living God) is Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your might, and all your soul. And Love your neighbor as you Love yourself. You are of course expected to actually Love yourself.
Sincerely and With Appreciation.
