1998 grand am se 3.1 code that comes listed as 0304

my grand am when at a certain rpm seams to stall and what feels like the engine dies at about 62 mph and will run rough if you try to accelerate to fast like it misfires, had a local parts guy check the code and on the misfire it comes back as 0304, but the engine light does not come on when it does it at highway speed, only when you accelerate from a stop. any clues, i was thinking that the throttle position sensor could be the problem but need information before i try and replace it.
