So I'm going to start writing again for associated content and before I didn't get a high upfront payment. I would like to get around $3.00 - $4.00 for an upfront. What do I have to write about, and does anyone have any tips to increase my upfront payment. I'm not the best at SEO or whatever it is, and I usually just write about what I love to talk teach people. If you have any tips can you please let me know?

Diet and Exercise is a huge one, at least for now. Just thought I would add something else in here as well: Triond is having an October special, where if you write 10 articles or more, they will give you a 20% bonus on what you earn this month! They did one in august for 5 articles and 10% bonus, and that made a huge difference, now they have this one :D. I am pumped up and am probably going to write more like 100 articles this month. Just thought I would share that because it is relevant in this freelance writing topic.

Diet and exercise would seem to be a good topic to write about, yet i have to do some research so I don't put people in the wrong direction.

wiggles, ... in my opinion, factoidz is having more viewers and more income than that of triond. I have tried with three articles, and could not make it big there in triond. I had to use traffic from twitter, but, even that did not work in Triond. But, my articles on factoidz are a regular hit. But, I write topics on HEALTH and HOMOEO.. so, there is no big money in this sector. thanks to KaiPrincess.. for a nice topic.

Yeah, Triond is a hit or miss thing with certain people. It all depends on what you write about and how you promote it. I find I can't get any thing better than Triond for the stuff I am writing. And with Triond, you need to write at least 50 articles before you see a big difference in earnings, once you get a selection of written articles, the earnings just keep building up. I love it. :D

I have not joined Associated Content because I'm poor with technical writing skill. In fact, I found it hard to create new discussions and post comments to other members.I suggest you'll write something about diet, healthy lifestyle, and personality development. These topics are hot to read by many people and most visited sought. I hope that my contribution will work for you to earn more money. Good luck.

How-to articles can also pay fairly well. For example...if you can make crafts, and find a specific craft that either has not been covered on AC, or find the only existing article wasn't written well, you may be able to earn a decent upfront payment (especially if the craft is "season-specific" like Halloween) Research your topic on Associated Content to see if they have articles on the subject in their library. Unless your article is is superior to what they already have, it's likely that they will offer a small upfront, or none at all. But don't get discouraged, I've had articles that did not receive an upfront offer, and the article went on to receive 3,500+ views the first month it was on AC. So I ended up earning more than $4.50 as a monthly performance bonus....and despite being submitted more than 18 months ago, it still receives 25-50+ views every month!

Political articels have been very popular on there lately from what I've seen. Definitely a good site to take advantage of. Best of luck with your writings and earnings.

Hello kaiprincess :) You can write about "Insurance and finance" if you know anything regarding that, It is the most sought after topic. loosing weight is onother big topic on the internet. Avoid writing on recipes and stuff as it attracts very less traffic. Write most on the topics which focus on solving problems of people, you could also write on "global warming or going green". Only people From U.S or non-asian countries are entitled to upfront payment is what I have heard ? Which country do you belong to ? And how much upfront payment were you used to recieving in the past ?
