lossing a weight through walking

The researchers wanted to know if a 16 week walking would help older overweight inactive women to lose some weight, increase their lean body mass and experince a better health-related quality of life?

I do not think it helps loosing weight 30 mins of walking in the morning and 30 mins walking in the afternoon..i do this every day for over 1.5 years when going to and back from work, i did not see any reactions. I think loosing weight requires more efort the simple walking.. like combining it with other sports

i agree wiyh u as its your experince but acc. to me simple walking can help u tp losse weight to great extent, but the walking should be little fast as during walking fats get burnt.
