My system every time asking for Automatic Update.

I am really tired by this Automatic Update on my system. Each and every time it will ask for the updation and i really tired by this. My system is taking at least 5 to 6 minutes to shut down!!! i don't know what to do. Can any one please guide me regarding this? Thank you.

i am sorry to say that i am not having solution for urs problem because for me i am having laptop with netconnection it will shows the same thing.. i feel that it occurs due 2 net connection for urs i dont know y its happening...

I think now there are many updates available for your systems. Because when I also connect my PC to internet then it asking for automatic update for OS. But I never allow for automatic update because I think if I allow for automatic update then it will connected directly for Microsoft websites and asking for validating the windows. So I never allow it.
