Do you have suicidal tendency or know anyone who attempted suicide? If you belong to the baby boomer generation, most likely you have given suicide a thought. According to statistics, there's an unprecedented number of suicides (between the ages of 40 to 59) is being reported. The "higher rate of substance abuse maybe or have been a factor" with these people nearing their retirement age. Another factor is the copycat syndrome, meaning they must have known someone who has done so. It can be blamed also for the changing and difficult economic weather that the pampered boomers are not prepared to put up with in their retirement age. In Japan, bizarre numbers of train (Shinkansen)jumpers are reported every year. It has been very prevalent that the government gets the bereaved family to pay for the delay and inconvenience caused by a relative who throws himself in front of the train. In China, they choose to do it on scenic spots like jumping on top of the Nanjing Yangtze Suicide bridge. Just wondering, what would you do if you are confronted with suicidal person?
