For me, it's all reality all the time. My favorite is Survivor because besides watching how people exist in conditions that they are not accustomed to, it is also a study in how human beings relate to each other when they have to live in a group and are dependent on the other members of the group for survival. Do you like reality shows? What do you watch and what do you find appealing about it?

There are a few reality shows that I watch regularly now. It's impossible to avoid them as they are what the majority of programing seems to be, especially if you count in all the talk shows and judge shows. The reality programs that are my favorites include, the Deadliest Catch, The Biggest Loser, and Big Brother. I also watch shows like House Hunters and a few of the home rehab shows(Holmes on Holmes, Flip this House), and most recently the cake decorator show(can't theing of the name. Out of all the shows that I watch, I think The Biggest Loser is probably my favorite. I have struggled with my weight and to see these people change their lives for the better is inspirations for me.

I struggle with my weight as well and am a fan of Biggest Loser. I have a tremendous amount of admiration for people who have that much weight to lose that are that committed to losing it.

I used to watch reality shows in the past all the time. Now I just watch 2 reality shows. These are Project Runway and America's Next Top Model. I also watched Survivor a few years back. It was nice but after watching it for three seasons, I think I grew tired of it.

I'm not a reality show fan. The closest would be Wipeout if you consider that to be a reality show. Most of them are more fake than not with all the editing, etc..

I can't believe I have to wait until next summer for more Wipeout. I guess I can watch the reruns on hulu.com, but it's just not the same.

hi LaurenINLa I also liked Survivor because it did some some attempt to not just script it all. It tells me how people really will react 'in unusual circumstances. some are great and some are wusses. the wusses will have a dreadful time, the otherw will make it.

I like Jersey Shore the best some might say it is not truly reality they are acting much like some people say about any reality show really like on survivor they aren't in wilderness when cameras are off they have trailors and things they say they are actors on a lot of reality shows but I don't think that's true and I still stand by my choice I like Jersey Shore best.

I liked The Hills and I like The City but for some reason haven't been able to get into Jersey Shore. Maybe I should give it another try.

Big Brother... don't know why but i like that they keep on having cat fights inside the house... it reflects the human side when being put in a controlled surroundings. who's going to follow the rules, who's going to break it, who's the traitor and the backstabber... gossip and everything in one roof and you know that they won't hurt themselves that much since they are inside a house. a big house that is. although it seems like its scripted i really don't mind watching it.. ordinary people becomes celebrities whether its for long term or overnight.

Yes Survivor is a good reality show. I also do enjoy watching this show because of the thrill and adventure of the people who are put under an uncomfortable environment and situation.

I prefer to watch reality-esqu shows or something on the history channel or learning channel that I can learn something from. I really like the survival shows like Survivor Man, Man Vs Wild, Dual Survivor, Man Woman Wild etc. My TV stays on either TLC, Discovery or the History Channel almost all the time :)

I like So You Think You Can Dance and I've watched American Idol. Wifeswap is always entertaining. I like seeing things out of the ordinary and personal achievements.
