Pictures of your Cat

A customer today was searching for her payment and I noticed in her wallet was a picture of her cat. I thought usually most people have pictures of their kids, grand kids... but their cat? Do you keep a picture of your most precious kitties in your purse/wallet? I guess I never thought about needing a picture of my cats the picture slots in my waller. Mine usually get filled up by pictures of my kids or various cards.

Of course, I don't have any children besides the cats, so my phone has loads of cat pix on it... are you sure she had kids?

Hi there. I have two pictures of my husband and I, one picture of my birth mother (I was adopted), and eight pictures of our kits. Whenever acquaintances share pictures of kids or dogs or the like to me, I show them our "kids" as well. I think it depends on how you view your cats. All my life I've been more prone to loving animals because of their innocence...I tend to gravitate toward the other races in a room with people and different types of animals. For people who don't feel the same and/or just have kids in general (in addition to animals), in my experience I've seen them downgrade the animals to an almost materialistic level. Although I understand a person's kids should come first if they decide to have them, there's no reason to suddenly treat animals as objects once the younger humans come along. You'd be surprised, though, at how many people do have photos of their animals in their wallets. When I share pictures I see a majority of people who show me dogs, reptiles, birds, etc. It's a beautiful thing, and I hope to see it more often. My husband frequently shares his wallet photos of our kits to his co-workers...in turn, he sees other cats, dogs, and sometimes kids from the mix of employees. For some people I think adding photos of animals is a no brainer. It was for me.

I dont have pix of my cat in my wallet, but I used to have one as the wallpaper on my cellphone. I like my kitties, and dont have any recent pictures of my son to put in my wallet.

I know I"m bad I need to get a new set of pics done of my Son as we just got school pics back for the girls. I don't even think I have a pic of any of the cats on my cell phone.

I guess I need to be completely honest here, but I don't have any pictures at all in my wallet or my purse these days. I used to have my wallet filled with pictures of Kathryn when she was little, but I don't really think about keeping them in my purse anymore because there are rarely times that I need to show off pictures of my children because they are always with me no matter where I go. That said, I also don't carry pictures of my pets with me either.

I have four cats and have all their pictures in my phone but not in my wallet. Its easy to see why someone would keep a pic of their pet in their wallet, your having a hard day and your feeling a bit blue sitting in your tiny office cubicle, then you open your wallet and theres your little cuddley buddy looking at you and it gives you a little smile. No harm in that at all, its actually quite nice actually.

I don't carry any pictures. In fact, I don't carry a wallet. My purse has a pocket for cash (which I rarely use) and I put my cards in a zippered front pocket. I know that the people I meet when I'm out are most likely to be strangers or mere acquaintances and they don't want to see pictures of my children or pets. I carry their images in my heart if I want to see them.

I don't carry any pictures with me at all.. bad mommy! I've never carried a picture of a pet.. but I suppose if you don't have kids, what else is there? Many people who don't have kids treat their pets as if they were kids. Personally I'd be a bit annoyed at someone trying to show me pics of their pet.. but that's just me. I'd even get annoyed if you showed me pics of your kids without me asking first.

I carry photos of pictures of my children, lol. But i will say that on alot of the photos there are a few of our cats aswell as a few of our cats.I think that there are alot of people that carry photos of pets, but i have noticed that they are the older people,as that their pets are their life companion as they have got older. The lady next door has photos in her purse of all of her pets that she has ever had.

Too cute a pet owner who truly feels her cat is her child. As so many actually do. I do not have any pets, except for my fish.. But if I did I probably would also put them along side my children's pictures. Too cute.

Probably because the customer did not have any kids and her cat was the next thing she cared about. I do not have any pets or children yet but ... I do know people who bring pictures of their pets + kids in their wallet, on their cell phone. It's pretty much natural..

I don't put cat/kitten's pic in my wallet but during my stay in a senior center there is a lady there who really loves cat. She got pictures of her kids and grand kids but the biggest and the primary pic she has is 2 cute kitten and everytime she open her wallet and pay for her lunch I look at the kittens and 1 time she took out the pic and give it to me. Hehe. Maybe she notice that I really like the pic. so I am keeping the pic with my cute little bears.
