money and friend

Not very clear.. do you mean he borrowed money from you and have not paid back yet? You should ask him... not a lot of people pay back if you do not remind them because they think you forgot.. just kindly bring up that you're a bit short on money and if he has the money he owed you a year ago.. Your friend should understand, if he does not then he is not a good friend!

You mean he brought you money or owed you money? Wait for a little more time but ask him if he could give you back now the money. He might think you don't need the money anymore.

I have a principle not to borrow or lend money from anyone even good friends because in the end it always leads to trouble. I guess it's true that money is the root of all evil. It even has the power to tear friendships apart. There was a case in my town where somebody killed his friend because he did not want to pay back some money (thousands of dollars) that he borrowed. It was pretty shocking. He tossed the body of his friend into a river after killing him.

when money became the center of every relationship, sometimes it ended up a good relationships you have started. i also came to your situation, but me and my friend have manage how to deal with the money she lend from me, and the friendships we have. we treat each other not just friends but as sisters. when she told me she will be needing money, i ask her why. she told me her reason and i felt the burden she's suffering then. i lend her money, she's the one who told me the date she will pay me. so i agree with it because she's my friend and i trust her. but due to some circumstances, she did not met her own statement, she did not pay me on the date she mentioned. i asked her why, and she told me she has not yet made to earn the money she owed. so i give her another chance, then months came, she broke again her promise. she even had the time to tell me what's her reasons why she's not texting me or left a message. im a bit disappointed then, but i still reached out to her, and then at last she called, she felt very sorry for she had done to me. i told her, that its just a money, what is important in our friendship, and you are like my sister. money can be earned but a true friend who will always be there for you is like a precious jewel that is rare and unique that cannot be easily found. then, after a while she made her promise and paid for the money she owed. friendship is more important than money. :)
