Death penalty in your state??

Is the death penalty practiced in your state? It is here in Virginia and I have no problem with it at all. I feel like some people do deserve death for their criminal actions that seriously hurt other people. This will guarantee that they never do that type of thing again. Are you for the death penalty or against it?? Why or why not?? If the death penalty is practiced in your state and you are against it, what would you do to change it?? And vice versa?? I thank God for the death penalty here.
