hello friends :)
I do like this kind of bikes too much.. But unfortunately i don't have it. As my father don't want me to go for such bikes. As per him this kind of bikes can be risky in city area as they are quite heavy in weight. So to handle them in heavy traffic is quite hard. And I know he is true so i went for normal bike.
But still i like those stylish bikes. But its quite true that they are not good in heavy traffic in city area. What do you think about it ??

ohhhh These sports bikes are only good to see and feel :D. Personally I would never want to have such a sports bike, they are very heavy and hard to maintain, besides indian roads are not suitable for such bikes, its better that we go for a bike which has great looks and comparatively less "CC" engines unlike sports bike :D. It is absolutely true that these kind of bikes are not suitable for traffic conditions in our country, and they can cause accidents because of rash driving. Our youngsters are adept in it :D, inspite of knowing that the roads are not suitable and it can cost their life, They don't care and meet their circumstances at the end. I think that its definately worth not to buy a sports bike where you do not have the conditions to drive, besides they burn huge holes in your pocket so "unless you are very rich or can handle these bikes very efficiently, its a bad idea to buy them".

sport bikes are very interesting. they are good for triathlon. but one has to know the basics of a bike before jumping into sports bike.for me they are complicated. it is always your safety that must come first. daddy is true with risky thing in city areas, you'll never know the traffic. for me biking near a shoreline is the best.

I do not know much about sports bike, but I feel that most bicycles are not that good in heavy traffic. In our city, we have part of the highway near the sidewalk set out for bicycle traffic and I thought as do many others, that "what are they thinking?" A car or truck could swerve and the worse could happen.
They should have bicycle paths. And that is the only way for sports bikes, or any type of bicycle. It is not that it is dangerous, it is that going in traffic is not safe for any bicycle, unless the rider has good reflexes and is able to get out of the way.

yeah it is true.. it is not comfortable in heavy traffic. As sport bikes are too much heavy so handling them in traffic is hard and this kind of bikes are made for speed but we can't go fast in such traffic.. So sport bikes are quite hard to handle in city life.

I like sports bike too! And yes you're father is right. He's just thinking about your safety. Also, big bikes don't quite fit in heavy traffic cities as you can't just pass through traffic with them easily.
But if you really like to have one then you better practice and increase your agility and strength. That way you will be able to use sports bike easily in the future whenever you can buy them on your own or better if your father will give it as a gift for you.

they say that, first cut your teeth on small power bikes, then go for big power bikes!!
I guess, control on your bike is very important, when you ride a bike, you should be able to throw it at high speed, and when it comes to stopping suddenly, the bike should be in total control...
Now, about the heavy traffic thing, that thing is really important, as those "Big" bikes just make you ride them fast, sorry fastest... so, in congested traffic areas, it can cause a big disaster...
So, first be able to get the bikes in control, then think of enjoying them...!!

yes that is true.. But i guess my father will never allow me for such bikes.. But you are true that controlling those bikes is not easy so better do some stuff on lighter bikes and then go for heavy bikes as we can't learn driving bike on such high weighted bikes.. :)
