Might have A Babysitting Job

So I was talking to a family member today and she might need a full time babysitter. I told her I would definately babysit for her. I could use the money. I would be able to use the money to help out my mother, for my college studies, and to splurge a little. It will surely be helpful more than I probably even realize right now. The only thing I am a little concerned about is that I am going to be a full time college student in January. Having full time school and full time babysitting is going to be a lot! Although I look forward to it. It will be about a month before I found out if she is going to need a babysitter or not. Hopefully she does. I really want to babysit her daughter for two reasons: 1.) I want to spend time with her 2.) I could really use the money Some other benefits of this would be that I get to stay at home. When the baby is sleeping I coudl read a chapter for school. Her mother said that she will just sit in her high chair for about an hour and a half eating and watching television. I could even read a chapter then. Although I know the first priority is watching the baby. I know that had times I will have my hands full with her. I also know that there will be plenty of days that I won't be able to get any school work done until she has left. I hope that I can handle both at the same time. I really hope that she needs a full time babysitter.

How old is the baby? Hope you get the babysitting job. Should be a fun and interesting time. I babysit our grandbaby on a fairly regular basis. It is just so rewarding and loads of fun. She will be 2 this month so I get on the floor and play with her and chase her around the house. When my daughter gets home, I leave and my fun time ends. It's more fun the second time around from a grandma's view. Our 3 daughters kept me busy when they were younger so I didn't have as much time to actually play with them. Ya know, all the household duties were waiting for me also. Good luck in school, carolbee

Being 2 isn't easy for anyone...lol I see food thrown all over the kitchen and the dog is loving it. Our little one loves to feed the dog but doesn't realize she will be hungry again in a couple of hours. The dog is so full she lays around and sleeps. I am having a blast with our grandbaby. Yep, I hear those little words and it's so cute. Thanks for giving me the best reponse.

The baby will be two in the end of January. She is a very good baby although she is slowly going into the terrible twos. She is starting to cry a little more, hit people, and throw little tantrums. For the most part though she is a little angel. She always cries a tiny bit when I go to change her diaper or clothes. Although when I lay her down on the bed she stops crying right away. Slowly she is starting to get into everything and I am sure that will get worse. Every time she comes over she finds pencils and pens from somewhere. My mom doesn't like it because she tries to run with them. She will sit and draw with the pens and pencils though. I can't believe she draws at her age! My mom jokes that she has a little stash of pens and pencils. The baby is starting to talk more. Some of it is baby talk but she can say dad dad, mom mom, momma. She calls our little kittens ka ka. The other day she was over and she said "mommy" so clear. I couldn't believe it! Thanks.

You seem very excited! Congratulations! I hope that your family member does need a full time babysitter and that way you can spend time with the child, and be able to make money to help your mother and to splurge as well as to use for your studies. I hope that you can balance the two, babysitting and doing your school work. Again Congrats!

Thank you. I am excited. The baby is almost two years old. I just don't know 100 percent if she needs a babysitter yet. So I will wait to find out. I also hope that I can balance the two. Thanks again.

Well if she doesn't you could always ask about babysitting on the weekends some so the parents can get out and enjoy themselves!

I hope you get it. You seem excited about it and who couldn't use some extra money. You will have to watch the baby but I am sure you can make it work and find time to do your studies. There are plenty of mothers out there who have children and are attending full time school. It is hard but you can do anything you set your mind to and there are many out there who are doing just that and I think you can to.

Thank you. I am sure I will be able to handle all of it. I will just have to find a good routine. I will hear in about a month whether I got the job or not.
