... for ladies on gentlemen and vice versa. Share your experience if you had one. I was turn off on a guy once in my college days because he was actually very boastful! He acts like hes the boss and he's not even as handsome as he thinks he is. ewww! I mean. He is not handsome (period).

Turn off for me in a guy is the one who makes stories just to impress people. A guy in a forum I am a member of keeps on posting stuffs he is claiming to know. He posted that he knows how to bake. I dared him to bake a cake from scratch and bake it in front of us! He gave me a LAME excuse that he does not have any OVEN at home and that he only baked in the US.( yeah right!!!!) he said, he only have a burner at home. He claimed he has 3 houses... he goes to in a week.. ( and he only have a burner?) Then I really challenged him straight on.. and then he fumed. lol!! I joked that " you really do know how to bake? or make a cake from a pre mix powder from Betty Crocker box?" then he fumed so much! and said something nasty already. Which I retaliated more. I have a habit of really telling a person off when I am in doubt. I think I caught him. GOTCHA!

Wow. That was really a turn off. Thanks for the story. This shows that some men lie just to impress women! And we should be careful. Good thing you got him! haha! That was really clever of you.

well, yeah he claims a lot of stuff just to look cool. I think he has insecurities issues as he always needs to prove something to us. He gives information when we do not even ask! He said he is " dating" right now.. he keeps on mentioning it in the forum. As if we are interested to know! one time we had a mini get together as a group where the " troll" is not present. We all had the same thinking about him! yesterday he mentioned it again.. " when is the next Get together?" then.. after he posted... " oh, I am not available as I have a date! " ewwww!! what a humor that was. Its so fake!! if you really have a date, one would not rub it in people's face anymore. so in a week, he keeps on mentioning having a date about 4x. ok, he need not remind the people he has a date!! duh!! maybe a date with his dentist!!

You are exactly right! I knew someone like that. Just thinking of him - turns me off right now. I don't want to be with these people/guys. As if, they are just so fake and plastic, as what you've said. =p

your answer is really unique. Most people are also particular on cleanliness and body odor. We can very much appreciate it when a guy has good hygiene.

Someone who's proud and arrogant, shows disrespect to everybody around them, overly pampered and thinking the whole world owes them a living. Those are the kind of people whom turns me off completely. Even if they have the means and rights to behave in that way, it does not mean we have to accept it being that way. We have pride. We are not here to be scold, bully or humiliated by them.

most of you here in the forum answers - boastful and big-headed guys as a turn off. Who would want to be with these guys then? Why don't they just be humble to impress you and other people, right?
