Are you also connected with any popular Heroes or politician?

Do you have any relatives even that is a distant relative or a very far connection with any popular politicians or heroes of our country? How are you related to them? Mind explaining it?
In our case, I just realize recently or months ago that we are way connected to Jose Rizal but of course not in the first degree or even direct but a distant relative. 
I just forgot the explanation how it happens but the idea is one of the ancestries marry the direct relative to Jose Rizal. That is the reason why I remember that my cousin even told her classmates that we have a grandfather that is a hero, I just thought it was a joke but then it is actually true. 
We are also connected with Sergio Osmeña but not also in a first degree as well but a distant since he marry our ancestry which is also our distant relative but we have same surname of Sergio's wife.

How I wish I am.lolz..But you know being connected specially politician is very useful for influence purposes in this country. You can apply for a job and being hired easily if they knew you came from a certain influential clan. Oh well fact of our society nothing can do about it.hehe..tc

Wow! how I wish I am really close or biological relative of Jose Rizal even to Osmeña Maybe I could inherit Jose Rizal's intelligence if he is my uncle. My concept for being connected with them is that at least there is someone that you can be proud of but the disadvantage of being connected with them is that people has expectations on you in terms of reputation.

My father said our great great grandfather is a katipunero that fought the Spaniards then later the Americans.
He said that Bonifacio was murdered by Aguinaldo and this is the reason why the Magdiwang faction have a big grudge against Aguinaldo which weakened the movement. This is also the main reason why the Macabebes later helped the Americans capture Aguinaldo, which unfortunately dealt a big blow to our pledgling country then.
