i was browsing my friends' info on this social networking site when realization hit me that i'm left behind. time flies so fast that i never expected that i'm stil here, struggling to be somebody while most of my classmates back then are big bosses and successful businessmen/businesswomen on their chosen career. i felt embarrassed for myself because deep inside i know that i can achieve more than what they have right now but i don't know what had gotten into me why i chose to be this way. i guess i lack guts to come out of my shell and prove my skills to the world. i hope it's never too late for me to stand up and make myself achieve something.

It is absolutely never too late to achieve the things that you dream about and you shouldn't feel badly that others are progressing more quickly than you are. Grandma Moses didn't start painting until she was 90 and while I can't recall the age that Agatha Christie was when she started to write, it was later in her life. The important thing is that you start now and focus on your goal until you achieve it. Best of luck.

did/are you bringing up children? thats a BIG achievement. just because others may "achieve" more t doesent mean they are any better then you..least I try to convience myself of that anyways...I havent even worked in years. i've been home takng care of my parents till they both passed. i'd like to think that was one of my many achievements in life...dont get down on yourself..i'm here if you ever want to chat :)

There is nothing to be worried for the past decisions and actions,as you can not reverse or unwind those to bring them to your favor. But one gets more knowledgeable and skillful as time passes. Standing on the present position, one needs to set one's future goal and prepare right strategies and action plans to achieve the goal set, with least consumption of resources and time. Every one is endowed with unlimited potential to win in any field that interests and fits him or her. Do not underestimate yourself anytime. Move strategically and with positive spirit. The world will pour everything you want at your feet.Keep the fire of your ambitious goal burning till you reach the post. Thanks.

I felt the exact way too when i open my facebook and seeing my female friends being hitched or having their 2nd or 3rd baby. I felt that I have been so long in my singlehood and wonder am I progressing soooo late compare to them. I guess some of us might felt such feeling whenever we see friends' updates because we will tend to compare. Perhaps comparing on out own current achievements compare to previous own history might be a better way. If you feel you have not progressed a lot compare to like 3 to 5 years back, then plan out things you need to achieve. Set a goal for example by 5years time I want to be a professor(for example) and word towards it. All the best!

i also feel the same way when i finish my degree and work for a research company for 3 years. i thought that it will be better to work outside the country to be able to reach my goals as fast as i can. but then looking back i should not give up my job before and strive more to attain my goals. now, as i see my friends success i cant help but feel sorry for myself. although i know somehow that i can still acheive the things i dream off. i just need to be determine and wise enough.
