When was the last time you were reunited with your first ever best friend ?

After 15 years, I was able to meet my best friend from my elementary school through high school we've been a lot before. Its fun to cherish all those happy memories we spent together however, it changes a bit overtime for we separated ways, having families of our own.
I'm lucky enough that I was able to see him last week, have some coffee and talk about our lives. Although we communicated through texting and emails, it is still wonderful to see him in person.
How about you? Have you any childhood best friend ? Have you seen them yet lately?

You are so lucky. I really hope to see my ever first best friend back in elementary days.We haven't meet since... maybe more than 15 years. I miss her. We just chat in FB and send messages. I think it will be awkward to see her again. But it could be the happiest moment in my life to see her again sometime.

Why can't you two agree to meet sometime, perhaps you may take the initiative to visit her one of these days? You'll be discover amazing things with each other's lives. I felt good after I have meet my childhood best of friends.

Did you meet up with her or was it a coincidence you two had met?
Well, maybe if we have the time, we are so busy nowadays. And we are far from each other.
I only got her FB account last year since I heard from her that she was far far away from here. But now, she is not that far far but still far. You get it? lol
Back then, she was in Manila and I am in Mindanao. But now, we're both in Mindanao but still a long distance away from each other.
Maybe if I will have the chance I'll visit her. Thanks for the tip!

No, i haven't . it was so long ago [56 years] & she lived in another town & i'm sure she has married & doesn't use her maiden name anymore. I just would like to find her tho. Thanks.

hi torchablazed I have not seen my best friend from childhood in many years but now my friend also has a computer so we can email each other and send each other things we think we might like. we do agree to disagree on politics and religion but that's okay. we both have t right
'to our own opinions anyway. she sends me a lot of republican propaganda and I just delete it. No use telling her that I disagree because I do not want to hurt her feeling.She has semt me a lot of fun things and I appreciate her so much.

My best friend is currently.. in Ecuador. Studying abroad with school until fall of 2011, next year that is. His family moved to a different part of the US (from Minnesota to Texas) so likely I will never see him again.. Ahh, the sad reality. We have been best friends since... forever.Almost literally. We have known eachother for 15 years so it's scary to me that I might not get to see him again. He just left though, in the end of July, and already that almost seems like a lifetime ago!

I met this best friend of mine for 6 years now,we're like sisters, we share almost everything including top secrets, I can really trust her. But then they flew to Manila to live there with her family for her mom is from there. But even if this went that way, we still have time to communicate with my best. I really miss her now

Well life guides us along different channels so possibility of meeting old friends get reduces. Unfortunately my old friends are not at all Internet savvy. Besides, mobile was not so very common in those days, so, they stay mostly in my sweet memory. Occasionally, life connects us - sometimes as a pleasant surprise, some other times, to shock us! I feel great when I see my friends shinning with success after long days and I also feel sad when I see few of my friends still struggling to manage a life of respect - a regular job! That's how life goes on for most of us here!

well friends in my childhood and when the time i was at school or colleges is different, the last time i met my childhood friend is couple month, but the last time i met my college friends is on the last month

Well I have many friends, but there is no such friend whom I can call as my best friend. But yes, I do have made some good friends and many of them are not with me right now. Some forgot, some moved away , some dont contact and other different reasons. So no, I haven't met any of my old friends recently.
But I am really glad to know about you. I can feel that it must be a wonderful experience to meet your old friends after so many years and hope you guys really had a great time together. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

My first ever bestfriend namely Angel.. She used to be my bestfriend during elem days. I got to see her during our elem reunion happened at Pier One by the Bay - Mall of Asia dated July 09 of this year.
Its nice seing her for the longest time (14 yrs).
We're still the same....She's already a fully grown up women..
She's not a "tibo" type anymore. A beautiful lady.
We have lots of "kwentos"... She will get married this Dec 2010.

Lucky you.
I have a best friend when I was in first grade but she moved to another place. We meet 11 years after. Just a brief "Hi! Hello! How are you?". We really didn't get to talk much because we were really different from each other. I asked for her number. We texted for a while then we just never heard form each other again. Not even in Facebook. Maybe because we got real busy and we have different priorities. But I still missed her. =(
