Palawan is also one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines and is composed of variety of beautiful and popular beach such as Coron Island, Dimakya Island, Amanpulo Pamalican Island, Busuanga Island, Puerto Princesa, Honday Bay, El Nido Island, Lagen Island El Nido. This is also a home to the Tubbataha Reefs National Marine Park which is the country’s largest marine habitat. Palawan have also a bountiful resources, abundant wildlife and extraordinary natural beauty which is only known to the many ethnic communities that prosper in these islands and a few other bold settlers who wanted to live in unpolluted surroundings.

Bohol is not only know for the Tarsier. It is also know for the Chocolate Hills which has a total of more or less 200. It also boasts of the Floating Restaurant in Loboc, the first Zipline in Danao. Danao, Bohol also offers Bungee Jumping, The Plunge, Caving and Rapelling. The beaches in this province has natural, white and fine sand. You could also see the Man-Made Forest in Bilar. You can also see a huge Python named Prony in a cage. If you're lucky, you could visit all these but certainly not within a day.

I would like to correct myself - I meant 'known' and not just 'know'. How stupid of me. I am from Bohol and am proud of it. I prefer to be called a Boholano than Bol-anon. ;)

I would love to visit the Philippines for some island hopping and snorkeling. I will fly into Cebu Airport and then visit Bohol Island. I will be able to see the Chocolate Hills. It would be lovely to view some tarsiers. I have heard that there are places less touristy than Boracay Island and those are the sorts of places I will visit. Palawan looks beautiful in photos and it seems like paradise I am sure.

If you would like to see what it is like when Boracay was not yet discovered, go to Calaguas Island in Bicol. While you are there, you may want to swim with the whale sharks in Donsol and at the same time view Mount Mayon, the world's most perfect cone shaped volcano. And if you are not contented still, visit Bulusan lake known as the Switzerland of the Orient. All of that is just in one region of the Philippines.
If you are going to Palawan, go to El Nido and Coron. You will see paradise there. hehehe...
In Cebu, go to Bantayan and Malapascua Island.

Hello, I am from the Philippines myself. One of the good places to visit is Iligan City, they have an outstanding amount of natural beauty and scenery available. If there's anywhere to go it would be there. In Bohol island there it is famous for its Chocolate Hills.

There are actually seven falls in Iligan. I know because I'm from around Iligan also. The Maria Cristina is the best. I love it!

There are just so many beautiful places in the Philippines for the world to see and appreciate. I'm from the Visayas, particularly Iloilo and just from here, there's so much the nature has to offer. Boracay is 6 hour-ride from my city, but there are near places that could also equal Boracay, like Guimaras Island, Sandbar, Nogas in Antique, and so many more. I wish I could turn around my own country before i retire.

Hi richgrace!
It is so nice of you to promote tourism in our country!
While a lot of Filipinos wants to visit other countries, its always better to tour different interesting places in our country. To date, I have traveled up north and down south and I am always being privileged to do so.
I feel I still would want to explore more. My next destination? Palawan, Batanes Islands and General Santos City.
Happy myLotting!
