India Records a thrilling Mohali win

Hi everybody, India wins at Mohali.
What a game of cricket! Not for the weak hearted though. It is proved once again at Mohali that test cricket is the ultimate in all forms of cricket as far as the entertainment and thrill in the cricket match is concerned.
India recorded one of its best wins of all times. Winning by just one wicket.Needing 216 for the win in final innings, India reached the target with final pair on the field. It was once again the great VVS Laxman who spearheaded Indian attack and romped India home with the help of tail enders. Ishant sharma warrants a special praise here without whose support this win would have not been possible.

OMG I just cant believe this... here I am sitting in office so obviously I couldn’t watch the match. In any case, I called up my son during lunch hours and the mean pig that he is, he told me ‘what more do you expect… of course India has lost’… I was so crestfallen LOL…so he was actually pulling my leg and its only thru you guys here that I come to know that India has won!!!
I’ll see the highlights later at night but as of now…yes, a superb win, one of the best…will see Laxman’s batting in the highlights…saw Ishant bowl his heart out yesterday…a superb all round effort and a very deserving win.

Yea it was really a very good match although i was attending my college and could not see it on tv. But we were all the time on mobile using internet getting all the updates about the match. Ishant really done well to score 31 and mr. Very very special laxman was really special today got india to win, but it was sad to know that he did not get the man of the match reward for his wonderful match winning innings.

Who says test cricket is boring!! I would watch such a test match to ODIs or T20s any day. Of course on pitches like Premadasa in Sri Lanka the story is different, but on result oriented pitches there is nothing like a good test match.
The match swung from one corner to the other with it having everything aggression, personality clashes, poor decisions, batting collapses, brilliant bowling, brilliant fielding, brilliant batting!! What more can you ask. And that man, VVS Laxman is now India's official Test match finisher doing it in back to back tests!!

Wow! what a win.This has to be one of the greatest wins for India.Apart from Indias heroes like Laxman , Ishant this test also has villians with the likes of Ian Gould & Billy Bowden.What a shame on their part.So many wrong decisions which tool away some sheen of the Test match.
Very Very Special Laxman did it again against the Australians.Ishant should also get a special praise here as he alongwith Laxman put on 91 runs for the 9th wicket without which we would not have won the match.Tendulkar , Zaheer , Sehwag , Dravid all played their part in this great test match.Hats off to INDIA

Yes krupesh I do agree with you on all respect. It has been very poor match for the umpires. The last decision to give Ishant Sharma leg before to a ball clearly leaving the leg stump was horrible and a decision at what stage. It had almost robbed India of the match. Anyway all is well which ends well.

I thought Laxman's back pain might hinder his play but it was totally a surprise the way he batted.
I think he enjoys playing in tough situations. And against Australians he has been their tormentor!
Ishant's stubborn knock in the second is also as valuable as any knock can get.
Overall, a fantastic win! This kind of wins boost players and motivates them to achieve more.

Really Great Win !!! specially appreciable batting by Laxman and Ishant,The real heroes of match got back match indian side and finally india won the match,once again vare very special laxman fought against aus.team till last ball and proved himself as a great match winner.

Yes it was a fantastic test match ever I seen in my life. Because the match was full goes to in Australia favor when India was loosing 8 wickets on 136 runs. And Ishant comes for batting. So then everybody think that now India looses the match and also hope was destroying. But Ishant give their support to Laxman and batting with patience. And again laxman proved that why everyone call him Very Very Special. So that was a fantastic win over Australia. And credit goes to Ishant and Laxman.

India did record a thrilling win thanks to themselves, had they done everything correctly and had not made the costly lapses during the course of the match it would have been an easy win (if not loss)...it is due to them that it was a thrilling win for them and they would cherish this win especially it came against one of the dominant sides [Australia] ever.

Really it was a fantastic match. Today's match was as exciting as any T20 or IPL match. Thanks to the wonderful performance by both the teams. Australia also fought well but the best team won. Till the last run of the match nobody knows who is goanna to win it. In the final two over's, I was so tensed and once India won I jumped in joy like a mad man. Lets hope the next test will be as exciting as today's and India should win that one also.
