do you think Regine sings better than Mariah Carey?

I am a filipino and i sing too. Im sorry but i think that Mariah sings a lot better than regine. Mariah can sing opera while regine can't.

can mariah really do opera? I doubt it.. Singing pop and r&b music destroyed her voice for opera. People train to do opera and I doubt that Mariah trained in Opera.

Yup Mariah does opera. In fact, she started with opera first before she went to pop. Her voice teacher was none othe but her mom who is an opera singer. Furthermore, Ryan Cayabyab once vocalized Regine the opera style, amazingly... regine cant even sing a low note under opera. She couldnt even go higher in opera style compared to her pop singing range. Mariah can do both. The only thing that i dislike about Mariah is that she is not wholesome as she used to.

Well there is no doubt that Mariah is already a legend in the music industry. She has a different singing style compared to Regine. They are different.

i admire regine v. for her fashion but not much on the singing. and what a comparison mariah and regine. regine tends to scream while mariah is the opposite of that.

Both singers are good and both can hit those high notes. However, i prefer mariah since she happens to be the singer of a song that reminds me of an ex.

Mariah will always be better than Regine.Maybe because Mariah sings her own song. Singing is not just about the high notes. I like Regine when she sings OPM, there's more emotion. When she sings foreign song she just try to hit the notes and everything else is void.

No I don't think Regine sings better than Mariah.... Regine screams a lot too though...
