How many is your first month's salary,and how did you spend?

I only started working after I graduated from university, which means that I have never gone into paid employment when I was a student. But that was OK, because that actually gave me the opportunity to concentrate on my studies instead of having to juggle between studying and working. Anyway, that aside, I started my working experience early last year (2009, in January). I earned about $3000 for the first month, which is actually quite a lot for a fresh graduate. But unfortunately, most of my first month salary went into paying for my internship programme fees. That left me with just enough money to pay for my groceries, rent and bills. So basically my first month salary was to pay off other stuff. Honestly speaking, I didn't have money to spoil myself until my 4th to 5th month working. Sad huh? But now I am in a higher paying job and my salary now I mostly keep them in my bank account to generate interest. I do spoil myself by buying stuff that I like once in a while, but I am ultimately saving for a holiday trip in the near future (and perhaps for a wedding too !).

Hey in presently I am unemployed. So there are no any chances for getting salary. I think in present it is only a dream for me to get my first salary. I also want to gain this experience that how a person feel after getting his/her first salary in life. I think it is a good moments in life when a person get their first salary.
