hey girls what kind of tampons do you use...internal or external? I went to a doctor these days and he recommended me to stop using internal tampons. he said that they are dangerous for a woman's health

Internal tampons are meant to absorb any liquid you excrete from there, and some of it absorb too much which is then bad if used too much. Also there might be irritations here and there.

external tampons could also cause irritations...so I don;t know from your point of view wich it;s better to use? with which one do you feel more comfortable?

Thankfully none now as I am almost 60!! But internal tampons can cause toxic shock syndrome ( which can be fatal) but this is only if the tampons are not changed regularly. However there are some claims that chlorine-bleached tampons made with synthetic fibres can contribute to TSS, I think that a lot of companies have now started making oxygen bleached ones instead to cut the danger.

yea but I hard that it's not proven that internal tampons really cause TSS..this happend also in the case of person who use external tampons
