I have been thinking this matter for a long period of time. No doubt Fifa World Cup is the biggest event in international football. Which is the next biggest event is it Ero cup or Copa America or any other tournament? I am quite confuse about this. Please share your views on this. Thank you. Happy mylotting.

My personal order is so: 1. Fifa World Cup. 2. English Premiership Cup. 3. UEFA Champions League. 4. La Liga It also depends on where a fan lives. For example, German fans may rate Bundesliga first before others.

No Euro Cup!! My dear. After all this is the cup every European is mad about.

Easy and simple question; The world cup! No football competition scales it. Champions League is huge and is easily watched around the world but it's the national sides coming together and there's a huge sense of pride when this happens. It's also more interesting to see that national sides cannot buy leagues or cups, despite the growing trend of players who play for national sides via living in the country for x amount of time. I don't think that should be allowed really. If I lived in Australia it wouldn't make me Australian, I would still be English and only my future family would be if I remained in the country. I have no problems with a footballer from Africa playing for France due it being apart of their colony or relative lives there. Sorry for the rant.

If you are talking about sporting events, then the second biggest will be Olympic. If you are talking only about soccer events, I would say the Euro Championship. I would like to say the Copa America but with the biggest league in Europe, the championship would definitely be the biggest.

European Cup more prestigious then Copa Amaerica or Africa cup... cause Europe has 11 times winning world champion with 5 different countries, South America 10 times with only 3 countries, and Africa none..

It is all relative, i live in Brazil so i care a lot to Copa America and Libertadores da America (like UCL of America) and the Brazilian Championship, but certainty other people think the championship of their own continent and countries are more important.

It depends on which continent a person lives. I don't really care who wins the African Nations Cup, the Copa America or the Asian Championship. I have watched a few games from this competitions, but only for my enjoyment and not for caring too much who will win the game. I am a European and I only care for World Cup and European Championship winners. Maybe because I am a German and Hungary fan, but I guess it also depends that I am a European. For me the second greatest football event is European Championship and the third place goes to Champions League, and then Bundesliga and German Cup. This are all related to the fact that I am a Bayern Munchen fan, and I follow this competitions because of them. After they are knocked out, that competition is not so important to me anymore.

Depends if you think of biggest event in audience or biggest event in profit. In profit I would say Champions League and in audience I would have to do some research but I tend to the European Championship.

I think Euro Cup is the second biggest in the world because every europe countries join the competition with high quality players. Copa America is the third because not many countries join this competition not as much as Euro Cup

i will prefer to choose Africa Cup instead as the second.
