If there is a thing you would like to go back to in the past, what would it be?

My life when I was a child.
You will ask why and it's because I wanted to do the best for my best friend, my father. I still feel up to now, that I was not able to do my best for him. He was a very kind father, maybe not the best when it comes to providing us because he was an undergraduate architectural student, which has a story on its own, but he was truly a good father, one that a daughter could always converse with about anything under the sun.

many things related to relationships and dreams. but i dont like to live in the past. i only think about them sometimes. regrets are normal, but lessons learned are more important because we carry them into our future and help to mold our person and our dreams, and that is what is reality is all about.

If I had the privilege to do that, I would make my childhood life or even my adolescent life a perfect one. I would act on all the what ifs that I am asking right now. I would learn things that I should have learned when I was a kid. I would ace all my elementary subjects. I would start businesses that are a hit right now. But those are all unattainable. Let's just look out for the future.

I miss my college life a lot. I would like to go back to those days and enjoy it better than before. I also missed a few good business opportunities in my life. If I could get them back, sure I will be happy.

I want my childhood back. I would love to live that life again as it is the best part of my life. I can have all my loved ones around me by this... hope that it can be done :(

Your discussion sounds lovely and seems like you would have a great second time around. Me I have noting within my childhood I would want to go back to as I could not have changed anything, having been bounced from home to home.
Having had such a hard and difficult childhood I personally would not like to revisit my past.

oh, that's sad. i did not grew up in a rich family or in a perfect family. i could say it is somewhat dysfunctional in some ways. but my father, he is different. he showed love to my mother, an extraordinary love even if it was not truly reciprocated.

Well I would like to go back as a child, keep playing, eating, and never have to think about problem. Have lots of friends, never knew what's the meaning of money, and many more. But then to think about it back, wishing to be able to go back to the past and be back as a child, that means I will have to leave whatever and whoever I really love in my life right now and I many not get the same thing, people, and friends if I start all over again. It could be worse. Even if I still can't afford many things right now, or that I have lost some people that I really love, but i'm also happy enough with whatever my life is at the moment :)

hello to you, kodukodu. we really couldnt tell if things will be better if we go back. as you said, it could be worse.
like you, i am happy enough with my life right now but if given the chance to go back, i would like to pay a visit. of course, that is not possible. this is just wishful thinking. :-)

I would of liked to visit the twin towers before they were destroyed.I would of liked to go to the top of them and look at the view below.Another thing that I would like to visit in the past is the titanic as it is one great ship and i would just like to see all the rooms and dining area .There are just so many places that i would like to visit in the past and if i had a time machine i would try to visit as many as it could think of.

nothing. everything might turn worse if i do. besides, though i've got lots of bad and embarrassing experiences i wanna forget but can't, i still think that my life now with those not so good memory is not so bad. i'm contented with my life now.

well, i am also contented with my life now in a way. there are just things that to me are worth going back to. if only it could be possible, it would be lovely to see and experience those things, situations, people, that somehow made an impact in our lives.
