Hi regicidetrese, i think they don't just based from how panic or speak in the interview. Of course they want to hear from you the clarity and determination that you can do the job. That you are deserving to the job. Just always feel relax and think that you were chatting with an old friend. Trust yourself and be confident.

Hello Regicidetress! I will tell you a secret: two years ago, after my graduation, i went to so many interviews, and just like you i was nervous and because of this i was talking nonsense trying to impress a possible employer. And of course, i was not hired. One of those days, i was very dissapointed about my previous attempts to get a job, i presented to a job interview, knowing that i will not get hired and with no expectations what so ever; I was relaxed, i comunicate to the employer what i know, what my expectations were, we discussed about the salary, about the program i want to have, all the benefits that i was expecting from them, and when i left i was certain that he will not hire me because i put it all on the table all my claims. And surprise! They called next day and put me to a real test! I went again, they gave me something to do at home, and when i presented there the third time and sow how attentive they analize what i had done, i had the feeling that they will hire me! And so they did! Of course they did not accept alll my demands, but i wasnt expecting them to accept them. So my advice: be relax, say what you have to say, show them what you know, and do not worry because if they will not hire is because another job ( far more better) is looking for you!
