You won't make any money on Helium unless you write for the categories that lots of people read. Poetry is *not* one of them. You also aren't going to make any money until you have a fairly good number of articles up. It's not an overnight thing. If you're trying to make money fast, Helium is the wrong place for you. People who make good money there have dozens of article. Some people have hundreds.

Hello, Angelic. Before you can earn from Helium, you have to earn a rating star. Each time you submit a piece of writing, you will be given articles to rate. You choose which is the better of the two and vote for it. After a few days, you will have a rating star, and then you can earn from page views, although it will not be much. Articles earn more than creative writing at Helium, and you should be prepared to wait for a while before you earn big money. I'd suggest you read through the Helium help pages to find out how the site works. I earn very well on there, and so do many of my friends, but it takes a while to build up a portfolio of articles and earn a reputation as a good writer. Good luck

Though I have heard a lot about this site not able to work on this because of less time ,but I think they share revenues and this takes time to accumulate earnings in this kind of sites because they share when they get..and you also need to work lot to make the earning base..but the good thing is if you have five sites like this on which you have worked for some time submitting works than you can earn passive income for years..good luck.
