Hi Laken, Ah...the 60s. I mainly remember the late 60s and early 70s which were not that much different than things are now. The smock tops and bell sleeves...bell bottoms and flares. Oh ugly were the striped bell bottoms and the flower power jeans but I never got into those. 1968 through 1975 was a time of great changes. There was the woman's movement, vietnam protest ralleys, Civil rights protests, hippies etc. I don't remember big buns on my head. Most of my friends wore their hair long and strait with bangs...lots of eyeliner and white lipstick, fishnet stockings, mini skirts. Peace love and flower power. Woodstock and the play hair, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, John Lennon....bob dylan, jimi hendrix....It's impossible to describe in one post what those days were like.

I was not born then, but I have seen pics and it does look like a fun time with great style indeed. I love all the A-line dressed and the make up!

In the 60s I wasn't even born yet. So I did not have any personal experience with it. However I see some pictures from that era and I found that the fashion style that women follow during those days were the style of Jacky Kennedy. So if you see a picture of Jacky Kennedy during that era that is pretty much a representation of the style during those days. However, in the late 60s the hippie style were becoming more popular. This style includes bellbottom pants (usually frayed), tie-dyed shirts etc.
