I've just watched algore's "An Inconvenient Truth" and it was shocking...seeing our world coming to an end. Every one knows and feels that mother earth is over heating and we need to act now...even if its just small thing to help our mother earth survive...lets save mother earth to save us... so what are you going to do to save mother earth?

Hi alex8288: It's nice to have somebody who is concerned with the state of the world. But... Just like the weather, everybody talks about it but nobody can do something about it. Have we stopped the discharge of greenhouse emission from an erupting volcano? Or have we invented a non-carbon emitting machine yet? Try this: have we stopped the giants and multimillionaires from pumping oil out of the earth to fuel our industries? Or prevented the operation of coal-fired power plants? What I am trying to say is that we really can't prevent the end of the world by planting a lot of trees or spending all our time picking up plastics from the seashores or ranting all our lives about it. Have I?

so your trying to say is that people really don't care anymore? well your so wrong....whats all about the billion dollar research on developing electric cars, and renewable energy...its not going to be a walk in the park but at least their doing something about it...may be we can still save earth, may be we can't...but its going to be worth a try......

I agree with rog0322. A lot of people are aware and have expressed concern about this ongoing problem. However, not everyone is doing something about it. I admire those people who not only go around and make everyone aware of this, but also really do something about it, too. As for me, I bring my own shopping bags when I'm getting groceries to reduce plastic usage. Working in an environment that needs paper all the time, I make sure that I recycle them by using the other page as a scratch paper. And if they can't be used for writing anymore, then I make sure that they are disposed properly for recycling. I know those are really small things, but everything smarts in small things, right?
