The Eleventh Hour

My younger daughter coerced me to watch a Leo de Caprio documentary entitled The Eleventh Hour. This film is actually a sequel to Al Gore's global warming warning An Inconvenient Truth. It seems that most of the world's citizens had simply taken Al Gore's forewarning about the dismal effects of climate change for granted. So the scholars, scientists, NASA directors, political leaders, and even architects and industrial designers had to be tapped...to prod us that we have to do our share in saving our only home planet. We are already at the eleventh hour... we cannot dilly dally any longer. It might become too late for all of us. So, clean up, plant a tree, and hope to see you tomorrow!

I have watched the 11th hour in SM mall of Asia last two months ago for free. I like how the documentary flowed... Our planet is slowly dying but still we are continualy contributing to its degradation. We are living in a very commercialized world and little do we know that its our home we are destroying little by little. I've also watched Al Gore's unconvenient truth and was shocked by the statics the documentary had showed about the population and the CO2 production. The last part of The 11th Hour made me smile because it showed organizations of people around the world going green. Little by little everyday the number of people becoming aware is increasing and we know that there is still hope. I recommend also to watch the animated shorts that won the oscar under the same category. The film is called logorama. To some its just a funny ten minute animation but the message it actually sends is very deep. Everyday we should do something to help in greening our community. It might be small but still it counts. I wish those documentaries would etched into the hearts of its target audience. Imagine living in an environment where everything is green and peaceful

It's so sad to know that some people are treating climate change with no sense of urgency. They are even adding to the destruction of our planet. I hope they will soon realize the effects of their actions before it's too late.
