Watching classic movies!

Last night me and my (post-break up) sister decided to veg a little bit (we stayed up WAY too late!) and watched a couple of my favorite classic movies, both with Marilyn Monroe in them ("Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and "Some Like it Hot") and even though we're both depressed in our different ways, it was actually really really fun. I also really love Audrey Hepburn, mainly for her role in "Sabrina" - but that's on next week's "girls night in" agenda.
What are some of your favorite CLASSIC movies? And is this kind of thing enjoyable for you?

Watching a Classic movie, especially some of the many with some of the old stars that many have passed on can make for a quite enjoyable night. I know I have done this from time to time, and even done it a couple of times when I have come home from work as well. Some of my Classics would be "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" "Casablanca" "Gone With The Wind" and some of the many classics with either Jimmy Stewart or John Wayne.

I've always asscociated classic movies with taking naps in the afternoon. When I was young(-er), my mom would always tell me and my brother to take a nap in the afternoon. This must have been summers.
We hated to take naps, as it meant we can't play. And when we were pretend-sleeping, we could always here the TV from the other room where our mom was watching.
So, this is not an enjoyable activity to me. Although I've seen 'An Affair to Remember' a few times. I think that would count as a favorite.

I very much like watching classic movies. I have seen the two Marilyn Monroe's movies at the theatres too. I was a movie addict during my college years, going to the theatres atleast three times a week. I have also seen "River Of No Return" with Marilyn Monroe. There are many classical movies I like very much. It would be a long list if I have to list them down.
