Christmas Gifts?

Christmas is right around the corner. It may seem like a long time away but really it isn't. Only less than three months and Christmas will be here. Before that of course we have Halloween and Thanksgiving. I have bought most, if not all of my Christmas presents already. I would like to buy a few more presents for my mother and two sisters. Although I don't know if I can afford to at this point. I know what I have gotten all three of them they are going to like. I am really happy with what I bought my mother and one of my sisters. My youngest sister is getting really hard to buy for. She is ten years old. I have bought her video games but that was it. I really don't know what else to buy for her. I have thought and thought and everything I think of, I don't think she will play with. My sister that is in the middle is very easy to buy for. I'm the oldest by the way. I can think of lots of things to buy for her. I could even write a list that was three pages long for what to buy for her. It makes it so much easier but then you have so many options that you don't know what to buy for that person. This year was easy because I found a few things on sale and bought her then bought her something she told me she wanted. My mom was surprisingly easy this year but I don't feel like I bought her a lot. The money is there it just doesn't look like much. I am happy with what I bought her and know she will use it. I also know that she will like the gifts. A lot of times I am worried that my mother will not use the gifts that I give her. I have started to buy for one of my cousins. She is the youngest and barely two years old. I bought her a little toy remote, a small inflatable pool, and a ball popper toy. I know she can't use the pool until summer but it was a good deal. So I might have a little more shopping to do. If I come across enough money I would like to buy for my sisters and my mothers. At least a few more things. I don't know if this is going to happen, so what I bought might have to be it. I am glad I got an early start on my Christmas shopping because I hate waiting until the last minute. I also feel that I have gotten good deals. So I saved some money also. I'm not as stressed or panicked about Christmas as I usually am. I know it is not even November yet but I am just happy to feel this way. Have you gotten started? What have you bought? Do you shop online or in stores? Do you set a limit of how much you spend?

I haven’t started shopping yet but I have been putting Christmas money aside since August. I don’t usually start shopping until November because I have my daughter and my niece’s birthdays in November to focus on first so once they are done I’ll start on Christmas. So far all I have is a list of ideas; I do set limits because money is tight. I usually spend around $60 per person, it may not be much but it adds up to a hefty amount! Good on you for completing all your shopping, you can relax now, well done!

I haven't even gone Christmas shopping yet. It is too early for me. Also, if I go Christmas shopping, I do it all on a budget.

My husband and I have not started shopping for Christmas yet. We shop online and in stores, and we do set a limit of how much we spend for each other. We don't buy for that many people, just his parents and grandparents. We buy for our niece and nephew on their birthday's but not at Christmas. I can't really say why we don't buy for more people, I guess it's partially we're trying to save, and partially because no one buys for us but them usually.

Although I have always awaited until after Thanksgiving to get started, this will be a bit unusual for me this year as I lost my job this year and have not been able to get on my feet. I will have to get creative somehow and try my best. It will not be the same but I can try.
