Do You Agree If There Are Wamil (Wajib Militer) In Indonesia??

Last night I watch ProActive ProvocActive on MetroTV about a new pre-law about Wamil that have been discussed in the parliament. Did you agree with it?? Give me your reason.

Well, why we need Wamil sis?? While for being a militer we have to pay couple millions.

As an Indonesian, I disagree. Whom with we make war with? I don't see any importance here. it is all about money. I think better for us to develop our economy. It is a must in globalization era. I guess all Indonesian will reject this idea.

Wamil, I feel no need to be done in Indonesia. Because I feel it is not necessary. I do not know any other reason, but I do not agree if any wamil

not yet heard bout that. I did not wach that news i disagree about wamil, thats not necessary for now. there are many urgent thing to do like to overcome the flood

i think our country no need wamil anymore, there are so many social problem never solved such as unemployment, high cost education, mass conflict etc, our internal problem need to finish first and for that we still no need military action

I do not agree, if in Indonesia there are wamil. Since I do not like the military. With the wamil, make us become like soldiers. I can not live like soldiers, who never relaxed.

Hi Devilova, I think the concept of the implementation of conscription (wamil) does not mean creating a militaristic society, but to shape the character of a nation that loves their homeland. There are positive things that can be expected with the implementation of conscription. It could make sense of patriotism and nationalism, and to form the character of discipline on the people, thus, the love of the homeland would be embedded, as well as discipline will be maintained. Happy mylotting.

Wamil means a civilians that have to be a soldiers/ militery educations in order to teach them about wars, defence the country or make them more love to their country.

I think military service in our country for now this is not necessary, now our country is not at war, which I know it when I'm at war draftee government lacked new troops held draftee, the state of our country should not hold draftee but hold aid to affected areas natural disasters

i agree with Wamil. Me, as indonesian, feel that our country is in urgent state. There was a problem with our neighbors, and we as indonesian must stand up our country. this is our "call of duty" as good citizens, eh?

I dont agree. because enough military, still cant protect indonesian' islands from Malaysia. It is not needed.
