This Is Why I Wanna Travel On Virgin Atlantic 'Planes!

This is Virgin Atlantic's latest advert. We first saw it on television the other day. The new one appeals more to a worldwide audience as the previous "80s" ad - well, not everyone "got it" unless you were a Brit lol. Anyway, it succeeded in making me smile and I don't think it is sexist at all. Quite the opposite, actually. I've never travelled on a Virgin Atlantic 'plane but, put it this way, the next one I fly on WILL be a Virgin Atlantic 'plane as there's absolutely no way I'd risk a tinpot Ryanair bone-shaker (and I hear they're planning trans-Atlantic flights, God help us all)! I'd LOVE a pair of those red, high shoes too. They're fab! Enjoy! http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2010/oct/01/virgin-atlantic-ad-muse-feeling-good

Love the advert! I have not been to any Virgin Atlantic flight but surely am interested to be in one. Not only with Virgin Atlantic but also I wanna fly with Virgin Galactic and soon their cruise below the sea... :D

Have seen their prototype submersible in you tube a couple of months back. If my memory serves me right, it is from the Virgin group. :D

I liked it... Not sure it's enough to make me fly Virgin Atlantic...I'd still go with the lowest price!

That for the link because it was lovely to view the Virgin Atlantic advert. It must have cost them a lot to make that wonderful advert. I have flown on Virgin Atlantic a few times. I flew on them when I was 20 years old on the first leg of my around the world journey. That was on the flight from London to Los Angeles. Last year I flew from London to Cape Town return on Virgin Atlantic. I was traveling with my disabled son and I was 18 weeks pregnant with my baby daughter. Going out to South Africa there was a five hour delay due to fog. Virgin Atlantic are brilliant when traveling with a child or baby. The staff and very friendly and helpful. This year I regretted choosing to travel on British Airways. I bought a flight from London to Vancouver return and they kept having strikes. Then the volcanic ash happened and I felt nervous about if my flight would happen or not. Luckily I did fly off fine with my disabled son and baby daughter. When I book a long haul flight I will choose Virgin Atlantic if they go there. Traveling with my children I like decent flight times like not arriving late at night and a non-stop flights are excellent.
