It's Not 2008 Anymore, Christine!

Apparently Christine "I'm not a witch" O'Donnell either thinks it's still 2008 or she's simply totally confused! Here are two reasons why I've come that that conclusion: This is from the New York Times: When asked whom in the Senate she most admires, Ms. O’Donnell paused longer. “It’s hard to say,” she said after about 15 seconds. “DeMint,” she said, referring to Jim DeMint, the South Carolina Republican who has been a vocal supporter of Ms. O’Donnell’s campaign. After a few more seconds, she mentioned Hillary Rodham Clinton, the secretary of state, who left the Senate almost two years ago. “She is a woman in a man’s world, holding her own,” Ms. O’Donnell said. “As one woman who is also taking some flak and stepping into the political arena, I deeply admire that.” http://www.nytimes.com/2010/10/02/us/politics/02odonnell.html It seems O'Donnell doesn't know Hillary Clinton is now Secretary of State Clinton and that she hasn't been in the Senate for nearly two years! Following is evidence she also believes Hillary is actively running for President right now; she said pretty much the same thing twice, first to a group of Delaware Republicans and second on CNN: "If both the House and the Senate pass legislation to repeal the health care bill," O'Donnell told an audience of Delaware Republicans on Wednesday, "and then Barack Obama thumbs his nose to the will of the people and vetoes that bill right before his re-election -- I've already seen some Hillary Clinton ads. There are a lot of Democrats who don't want this. If he has the audacity to ignore a very clear message from the people, he's making his re-election very uncertain." During an interview Thursday with CNN, O'Donnell repeated her insistence that the prospect of a Republican-controlled Congress repealing the Obama administration's health care reform next year was "absolutely realistic." because "if Barack Obama vetoes that the year before his re-election, he's setting himself up to be very vulnerable -- and I've seen many Hillary for President ads running." http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/10/odonnell-hillary-president-ads/ Huh??? And this woman thinks she's ME - and YOU? Annie

lol! I don't care if she is christian, atheist, jewish or what have you. I'm just tired of people mocking the whole "witch" thing. So much for the religious tollerence the "left" is so fond of preeching. Besides, she is running in another state and I can't vote for her anyways.

to be fair i think the mocking is people thinking of halloween witches, not paganism or whitewitchcraft. this is probably what even little palin was thinking about with her comments about dabbling. in fact i have now worked out she was ACTUALLY thinking of trick or treating.

Me thinks your hatred is clouding your judgment. You are trying to make big issue mountains out of little mole hills. Obviously you are a liberal woman who is by definition at war with any woman who is not. I'm sure Christine knows Hillary's current job, and she was Senator till recently. Many people are talking about the possibility of Hillary running in some capacity, so there is no problem with that. And yes, the majority of Americans are intending to repeal obamacare. This woman, the one you attack almost everytime you write, is already a better person and of more value to this country that your dearly beloved obama hussien. Why are liberal women so nasty?

I don't know about Delaware but the republicans are doing very well in most states because the American people are rejecting political insiders across the broad. As well the majority of the American people have rejected the democrat agenda. I would not count Christine O'Donnell out. The video link below is the first of a two part interview with Greta on the record. October 8,2010 http://video.foxnews.com/v/4366790/christine-odonnell-on-the-record-pt-1/

ddzdvd - I think you make a lot of good points. Both parties have been miserable at leading the country. They have created a bureaucratic and regulatory system that drives them, instead of them making wise decisions for the country.

I'm just saying its hard to take her seriously. Yes she has been taking some flack, but her response was rather comical. "I am not a witch." Wow! Such a dreary backdrop.

I agree, 2 statements, one of which can be verified. The Obamas did not participate in any aspect of Ramadan...but who knows what kind of altar little Palin has hidden in her closet?

One more person running for office that has not a clue about what is really going on. It is truley frustrating that these people actually get enough support to get on the ticket. I am in California and we have a "lady" running for office that just has no clue, she is thirty years out of the loop. It is just sad.

Apparently Whitman assumed she could just buy the election. I wonder how she intends to "outsource" all the state jobs overseas. There are some things - like fixing roads and bridges - that might be hard to do from India or China! Annie

No actually like their politics or not all of the three you mention actually do know what is going on. I was referring to Ms Whitman, apparently she thought she could just take all of Reagan's Quotes and remake them her own.
