How do I get onto Google?

I have a photography business that I am trying to get some more business to and I know that you can use google to advertise with their ads and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what and how I can do this?
There are other local photographers that have their businesses advertised through google and I would like to be able to do the same so whenever someone searches RJMPhotography in the google search it will show my web page and/or facebook. myspace and twitter pages? Can anyone help me?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I ran RJMPhotography through the myLot search and came up with a bunch of results. There's a lot of you guys out there, but I think the first two are you...

Yeah tell me about it...I guess I should of done a little more research before I picked the name but I went in and looked at the copyrights and there was nothing also this is actually a part of my name R is for my husbands first name J is for my first name and the M is for our lasts name and we use this RJM for everything so it was obvious to use it for our business but yes there are a ton of them it seems and unfortunately mine is getting pushed to the back burner...Thanks for your response barbaraprz

One thing you can do to direct traffic to your site is put a link on your SewEssentials website to RJMPhotography, and vice versa. I see you have it on your home page here, but because it's linked to facebok, non-members can't see it. (Not everyone is on faceboo.)

Thanks Barbara....I will be sure to do that as well. I never thought about a direct link to the photography website because I thought that anyone on here that would want to see that page couldnt schedule an appt anyhow so i thought they could atleast be friend the facebook page. But now that I have a page where I can sell stuff it opens it up to so many more people so I will sure to add a link to the actual page that way everyone can use it.
