Bluetooth is basically low powered packet based radio frequency communication bewteeen 2 electronic devices. It can be used to transmit data and/or voice informations.

Bluetooth is a wireless technology used for exchanging data over short distances (approximately up to 10 meters) using radio wave transmission. It can be used for transferring of pictures, videos, mms, etc,. There are lots of devices right now that has bluetooth but not all bluetooth are compatible with each other so you should always check with the manufacturer for the compatibility of their bt.
