Last week I had my yearly evaluation at work and I got a big 25 cent race
.
I've been there 7 years and I do everything plus more but since they srated having money problems last year every bodies raise supposedly got cut down from 4% down to no more than 3% and upper management didn't get one at all
.
It was up to your supervisor how much you got but since my co-worker got only 2% the gave me the same.
I deserved more since I've been there 7 years and Full time.
She's been there going on 5 and works only part time. She's a very good worker but I don't think you can compare our 2 positions.
Needless to say I was very disappointed to find out that I was only worth a Quarter
Did you get stiffed on anything lately?

Shoot! to bad that wasn't a typo and it was more like at least a $2.50 raise. Well, to us your worth more..and you know you should maybe let them know it too..in a subtle way at least let them know your discontent with the small raise.

I started working in this company in 2003 where the market condition is quite bad. At that time, my salary is very low. So low that I feel embarrassed to tell others that I actually have got a job. Still, I ride on board and work hard. And it turns out I got pretty good rise in my salary and I will say it is much better now.
Back to your situation. I understand how it feels like when you have worked so hard, so wholeheartedly and yet the increase in pay simply isn't reflecting any of that. While there are times when our supervisors are idiot and dump enough to ignore the effort we have spent, there are more that they do know we have played our part and when the time comes, they will repay us. The bad situation with the company isn't something your supervisor can control but as long as things improve that he has the capacity to do more, I believe he will compensate you.
