Just wondering if anyone worked in the seafood business. I have worked in it since I was 12. I was a lobsterman at first. Then went to work in a seafood wholesale/retail shop. Then along with that job I also now harvest soft shell clams and quahogs so all my income is related to seafood.

Why yes I've a new comer to the seafood business but felt like it's been part of me for a long time. I love the sea and all the things that live in it. That's why it is so easy for me to be in love with my job, my friends got me into this business and I don't think I will ever get out. I currently am a quahogger and looking for work to become more like work at a seafood place.

Nice choice of work! Quahogging makes great money at the moment and if you handpick it is very easy. I woulnd't like to do it forever because it may possibly start getting a low population but it is a great job now!

I worked on trawlers as a "British Share Fisherman" just after I left school - that's a long, long time ago! Then European regulations started to effect Britain! You can't catch this, you can't catch that! Well, that was the abrupt end to a promising career.

Wow that's pretty awesome actually! Sucks about all the regulations it has affected me as well. My stepdad worked on a big offshore fishing boat I would also like to try something like that someday.
