how to get ext hd to appear?

Hey all, I have a seagate 1tb ext hd...it used to show on my computer when I connected it via usb now it doesn't...all the other computers bring it up right away...is there a way on windows 7 to get it to recognize the ext hd again? other ext hds are showing up just not this one recently for some reason...its ntfs...
