When I think of unforgetable places in my life, a long list of places come to my mind. They are all so special in their own ways. Very amazing indeed. One of the most unforgetable places is the University I went to. I remember the class rooms, professors, classmates, the library where I went every evening, the gym, and so many wonderful places on the campus. How about you ? Which is the most unforgetable place in your life ?

I have too many. The first? My school when I was about 7. It was a huge house on an estate . It was a private school. It had grass and hills and animals.Being a tomboy I love , loved it. Second was my trip to New York in 1984. It was an orchestra trip. Mt highschool orchestra went up to New York to play in a festival. Because I thought they were going to the Statue of Liberty so my mom and I stayed in Philly and met up with the Orchestra. We Played our a$$es off. I played my best , Ever. and we got Gold metal! And the one that came to mine first was my 1997 trip to New Orleans. My mom and I went by train. It was perfect! We stayed just across the street from the French Quarter. We got to ride through the garden district.I walked around the Quarter. I didn't take a camera because I didn't Need one, I Still can see Everything like I was there yesterday. Any other trip pales.

Hi Sarah. You have so many beautiful memories of the places you have been to, and they are indeed remarkable places. I didn't know you are a musician in the Orchestra. That's remarkable. The French Quarter in New Orleans is certainly a very unique place.

Call me retired! I haven't even picked up my violin in a year or so. But the last time I did it only took about 10-15 minutes to get back into form! They say it takes 20 years to become a violinist and now I see why. It takes that long to Know what you are doing!

Like you there are so many places and it's truly hard for me to pick just one.
I loved the University like you. I love many of the States I've been to for all different reasons. Canada is amazing! But I have been to other countries as well like China, Thailand, Taiwan, and The Philippines.
I'd have to the Cebu Islands in The Philippines was my most favorite. The people were so nice. The hotel was a really high class one and everyone called us by our name as we walked by them. It was fabulous going to the street vendors and buying things from them.

It is wonderful that you have been to so many countries, beautiful places. I have been to the Philippines once, only to the City of Manila. Yes, the people were so nice and friendly. Thailand is a remarkable country too, the "Land of Smiles".

When I was 16 years old I went to the Merchant Navy College and did a Business and Finance Shipping and Transport qualification. I lived on the campus in the week term time and went home at the weekends and for the holidays. From my study bedroom I had an excellent view of the River Thames. I used to go sailing in one or other of the boats. There was an indoor swimming pool that I used like going to. I liked to go on riverside walks. After one year there it closed down. Some of the students went to continue the course further down the River Thames. I went with the other students to continue the course in London. So I would say that the Merchant Navy College was the most unforgetable place in my life. Years later I went over to see it again with a friend. We walked along the river, past the children's play park and into the old college grounds. We ran into the site manager and he chatted to us. Then another couple of years later I went back. I was horrified to see that my old college had be knocked down. Expensive apartments and town houses were there. I noticed that the abbey was still in the area. I was pleased to see that was still standing. I also went to university in my twenties but it wasn't as memorable a place as the Merchant Navy College had been.

Hello Maxi. How are you ? You had very interesting days on the campus. Yes, life on the campus is always unforgetable. You were very lucky to have the excellent view of River Thames right from your bedroom ! That must have been a breath-taking view !

the most unforgettable place ive been at is the house of my mother, still there up to now and she still lives there. a lot of good and bad memories there. last year a big flood flashed the whole house up to the roof. everything in there was damaged even all the pictures and all the things that will remind us of the house. after the flood we cleaned the house and painted the walls. now all you will see in the house are new nothing from the past but all those memories are in our hearts.

Like you, a long list of places come to my mind, too. One of the most unforgettable places I've been to is Europe. I especially liked Paris and Switzerland. We went to about six countries but those two were my favorites.

You climbed up Mount Fuji ? Oh, that is indeed remarkable. I had the opportunity once to see Mount Fuji from the distance. That was a breath-taking view, so beautiful. Yeah, that is a place to remember !
