Klose has made an interesting statement regarding this. He said that it is funny that the German national team and Bayern play in the same system, half of the national team is made from Bayern players and he gives all of his best both in national and club team, but he has no luck of scoring in Bayern. He said that he managed to score against Turkey after the ball jumped from the post in front of him, but when he is at Bayern the ball goes either in the left or the right, never in front of him. He has no reasonal explanation for why this is happening and he hopes that he the luck from the national team will be at Bayern as well. And I hope this as well, because if he won't score in Bayern he will go back to the bench and then he will go away at the end of the season, as he said today.

I think so, yes. It seems to me that he always played well at the national team, but he cannot find himself at Bayern. It is very funny, because he played many years in the Bundesliga and made excellent results, except from Bayern. Why is this happening I don't know. And now he has no chance to show his if he has found it because he got injured against Kasachstan. What a pitty for us, Bayern fans, with so many injuries, after Ribery, Robben, Schweinsteiger, Contento, Alaba and maybe van Bommel, now Klose is injured too.

I think Klose is a player who seems to step up when he plays for Germany. Also the German team plays a more attacking game than the Bayern Munich team. That is what seems to really get Klose going. He is strong and brave in the air, so if gets good service from the flanks then he is deadly. The other aspect is that his style of play is so German that the Bundesliga defenders pick him up, but when playing against other nations, they find it difficult to pick him up. Cheers! Ram

There are some players who played well for the club and froze on the international stage. While there are some who is exactly the opposite and Klose is definitely the latter. Nonetheless, as long as he keep doing the job for the international team, it does not really matter how he perform at the club stage.
