The baby needs more enzymes...

I have a new boardmate. She has a newly born baby, a single mother. And her problem, her baby boy which is 28 days old lacks enzyme. She has not gone to the doctor yet, well obviously she has financial problem right now. My officemate who is close to her ask me about enzyme, so i check it on google, at least she can have some few info about it. . . Its some kind of proteins which serves as catalyst or something. I know path can help me this i think so. . . Can taking amico acids help this? Or some cheaper way to help increase babys enzyme? Can it really cause anemia?

Good comment, primeaque. You are not as interested in the baby or the mother as to make a post for mylot. It is a way of looking at things that I hadn´t thought of. One always learns.

You have to be careful with giving a baby anything. She really should try to get it to the doctor so they can find out what is going on. Is there anyway you or some of her other friends can lend her a few dollars for the baby?

hi prime she has just got to go to the doctor as even if the baby needs enzymes you do not play around with this. babies are not little people they are babies and too much of any enzmye might sicken or ev en kill a little baby. Surely she can get some financial help for something as important as a babies health.If it lacks enzymes it needs a special medical person to figure out what and how much , this is dangerous territory to a lay person.I have no idea what enxymes or path or anything else. this is medical experts territory and should be handled by a doctor not us lay mylotters. hope she can get the funds and the help for the baby. good luck.

The mother should eat fresh fruits and vegetables to get enzymes. I wish I knew more to tell you. Or if the baby is fed with a bottle newborns need formula.

Thank you so much, i just get downtairs to tell about your answers here. I just remembered my mother cooked vegetables before, the unripe papaya, and coconut milk together with other vegetables. . . Have a blessed sunday

I don´t think anyone can know if a baby has or has not enough enzimes if he has not gone to a doctor. I´m sure there must be a way to have free medocal care of some sort. Most babies don´t need much more than their mother´s milk at that age.

There are many different enzymes in the human body. Some help digestion, some help circulation, some help the immune system. Unless you know which enzyme the boy is lacking, you could do more harm then help in trying to give him supplements. If she is nursing the boy has a much better chance of surviving this problem, as many necessary elements are given through a mother's milk.
